This policy explains how QuoteYourBuild Apps Pty Ltd (ABN 60 702 391 599) ("we", "us") handles personal information in connection with the QuoteYourBuild web and iPhone app and this website. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Information we collect

• Account details you give us, such as your name, business name and email address.
• Job and quote content you enter into the app, such as measurements, material quantities, costs, and customer details you choose to include on quotes.
• Subscription and billing information needed to manage your subscription. Payments are processed by our payment provider or by Apple through the App Store; we do not store full card details.
• Messages you send us, for example by email.

How we use it

We use this information to provide and support the app, manage your account and subscription, respond to enquiries, keep the service secure, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run the app (such as hosting and payment providers), when you ask us to (for example, when you share a quote with your customer), or when required by law.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Some of our service providers may store data outside Australia.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or close your account, by emailing hello@quoteyourbuild.com.

Terms of Use

• Estimating aid. QuoteYourBuild is an estimating aid only. You are responsible for checking all measurements, quantities, costs and quotes before relying on them, ordering materials or sending them to customers.
• Subscription. QuoteYourBuild is offered as a subscription at A$40 per month with a 7-day free trial. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Subscriptions bought through the App Store are managed and billed by Apple under Apple's terms.
• Your content. You own the job and quote content you enter. You give us permission to store and process it only so we can provide the service to you.
• Acceptable use. Don't misuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, or use it for anything unlawful.
• Liability. To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for losses arising from errors in measurements, estimates or quotes. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
• Law. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
